What is a CBT.
Compulsive Basic Training is a legal requirement before you can ride a motorcycle on the road with 'L' plates.
The majority of trainees require the basic CBT only, which is a full day's training. Some trainees require extra tuition before the required standard is attained.
What you need to bring.
The only requirement for taking part in a CBT is that you’re over the age of 16 and have a provisional licence, thats it. Protective gear i.e helmet, gloves etc can be provided if necessary. An understanding and knowledge of the highway code is beneficial as part of a CBT does take place on the open road. But above all you should bring your passion for motorcycles and a willingness to learn.
